“For me, it's so nice to experience another way of life.” - Lisa's first three months in Italy Blog dei volontari

I finished school back in Germany and now I'm doing my volunteer year here in Trento at Civico 13, which is an organisation and information desk for young people. My work is related to my skills, which is so cool for me. I produce online content which includes creative tasks like graphic design, photography and video editing. My colleges are so open and friendly and they accepted me very quickly. I think volunteering abroad really gives you the opportunity to get to know the national culture. You get in touch with the local people and they help you learn the language and also teach you about the traditions of their country.

For me, it's so nice to experience another way of life. I'm young and there's a lot I haven't seen yet. I want to grow with this experience and be inspired by new beautiful places and people. It's a good way to get to know yourself better and learn to take care of yourself. I live in a flat with many other young people from all over the world. There is a lot to learn here.
