Is your age between 18 and 30 years old? Would you like to come to Ireland for a period of volunteering? The Solas Project in Dublin is looking for volunteers to host from August 2022 to end of July 2023!
12 months
Solas Project is a charity based in Dublin. Their vision is to see an Ireland where all children and young people truly know their self-worth and can take full advantage of their potential. Their programmes specifically target children at risk of early school leaving due to social and educational disadvantage. They aim to provide purposeful activity in a caring and secure environment in an attempt to meet the physical, emotional and intellectual needs of the children. One of their main activities is an after school programme which caters for 35 children (aged 5 – 11 years). The Club strives to be a home away from home sitting around a table to have a meal, helping with homework, and doing a fun activity together.
