Starting with mixed feelings Volunteers say
Julia, a german volunteer, shares her feeling on this new experience, which was a huge change for her.
During my first two weeks here i felt super lost and unsure of my decision to go abroad since it was the first time i ever lived on my own and added to that, also in a country with a language i dont speak and had to get used to the city and the whole situation in general.
Then when I started my volunteering work, things were still confusing but the fact that I finally had something to do and saw how I'd spend my year of work here, it helped me to start looking forward to this year.
I've been in Trento for almost two months now and I feel like I've slowly started getting used to the city and life and compared to how things started, my situation did improve and I'm very glad it did.
