New selection with IAI project!
InCo organization, together with "International Alliance of Inhabitants" (IAI) is organizing the third edition of the project "Inhabitants of the World", EVS in third countries. Please note that InCo has an open selection only for youngsters living in Italy!
The "International Alliance of Inhabitants" (IAI) is a network of organizations, informal groups of citizens and people of all races and ethnic groups in different countries and regions of the world. The main topic on which this network focuses is the right to housing, promoting new forms of active citizenship and fighting against forced evictions. In this way organizations struggle against people marginalization and social exclusion. To know more about IAI work, click here
InCo is searching for 3 motivated volunteers. The vacancies open are in Brazil (Sao Paulo), Argentina (Buenos Aires) and Peru (Lima). Volunteers will collaborate with the technical staff of IAI partner organizations: CONAM, FEDEVI and CENCA, respectively.
If you are deeply interested in those topics and maturity to face an experience like this one, this could be your opportunity! The starting dates of the Activities are June 2011. We are looking forward to receiving application from youngsters willing to live a new experience, to get involved in the work of those social movements, who are able to live abroad for a long period of time (12 months). It is essential to have an intermediate level of language knowledge (Portuguese, in case of Brazil and Spanish, in case of Peru and Argentina).
If you wish to apply, after reading all the information about the EVS program, send us a mail attaching the following documents:
- your résumée in English or Spanish/Portuguese (you can download the Europass format here );
- a motivation letter (it has to be specific to the project! You should explain a little bit why would you like to participate in the EVS, why this country, why this specific project, what do you think you could learn, which could be the difficulties you could face, etc.);
- a picture (if it's not attached in the CV).
Send us those documents to sve@incoweb.org with the subject: "Application: Inhabitants of the word 2011". Applications will be accepted from February, 22th to March, 11th; after shortlisting the candidates, there will be a vis-a-vis or a phone interview.
Candidates from Portugal, Spain and Czech Republic are welcome to get in touch with the local sending organizations: ProAtlantico , PAIDEIA and DUHA , respectively.
