A year like no other Blog
Hi, I'm Lukas and I volunteer for the #Kairos Youth Center and for a kindergarten in Pergine.
It is a great feeling to help the children and young adults and to see how you are having a positive impact on their lives. I could not have asked for a better place to work.
My service has given me the opportunity not only to see the beatiful country of Italy, but also to find out a lot about myself. When I came to Italy I didn't really know what to do. Now I found a passion for studying psychology and am already very excited on following the plans I make here.
I'm very thankful for the friends I found, like Lukas to my left. They made this experience so much more valuable.
Doing a voluntary service is probably one of the most impactful decisions of my life.
I'm really thankful for this opportunity.
