My EVS in Molfetta Blog

Ciao! My name is Anna. I'm 19 and I'm from Germany.

Doing my EVS in Molfetta was the best experience in my life! I had the chance to do so many new and different things, meet many new people, learn Italian and get to know Italy and the Italian culture very well. My project was in a middle school in Bisceglie, a small city next to Molfetta. Here I was supporting teachers during the English lessons, for example by preparing games for the students, and also participating to other events in the school. Also apart from the project we did many nice activities, like our Erasmus choir or a cooking project were we learnt to cook local food from Molfetta. We were about 15 volunteers from different countries. That was really nice because you had the chance to get to know people from all over Europe, learn more about their culture or some words in their language. I found really good friends during my 9 months here in Molfetta both among the volunteers and local people which made the time here amazing. Also we travelled a lot and saw a lot of beautiful places in Italy, especially in Puglia that for me is the most beautiful region in Italy, I'm so happy that i decided to an EVS and I think everybody should take the chance and do it! It's a great opportunity and you will never forget this experience!
