My experience in Molfetta 2020/2021 Blog
My experience in Molfetta was so far the best experience i have ever made. I learned more things tham I could ever write in an article.
Hi, my name is Louis and I am 19 years old. I lived in Molfetta for 10 months and worked in the office of the associazione InCo. In this text I will try to tell you a bit about positive and negative aspects which are by far less.
To start off, I would like to name an aspect, that could be seen both negative and positive. Sharing a flat. Sharing a flat can be difficult, but only if the different parties are not communicating in the right way and do not pay respect to each others rules. If you can't imagine living with others, you should consider not doing an ESC which is about interculturality and meeting people from different countries with different habits.
This also initiates one positive aspect. The people you meet. Throughout your ESC-experience, you will get the chance to meet a lot of new people. Some of the will become your friends, and when your ESC ends, you can always visit them, so your ESC never really ends.
Another thing, that you will carry with you (if you put some effort into it) for the rest of your live are things you will be learning throughout your experience. The skills you will develop during your work will depend on the work you are doing, but one thing that everyone in Molfetta can learn is the Italian language. It takes effort, but if you want it, you get the chance to learn it.
Last but not least, you will get the chance to work in a great, friendly worinkg environment (at least if you work in the office) and you will be able to feel authentic italian life, with a wild chaos on the streets, fruit-markets and a lot of sign language:)
So...Go experience europe!
Thank you InCo for this opportunity!
