NOLimits: Addressing youth unemployment in Europe through transnational ESF mobility measures

Ad un gruppo di giovani tirocinanti provenienti dalla Catalogna viene offerta l’opportunità di trascorrere 3 mesi in Italia, grazie ad un’esperienza professionale all’interno di un settore specifico, per permettere loro di ampliare le proprie competenze e abilità, di acquisire nuove capacità specifiche, e allo stesso tempo di approcciare e approfondire la conoscenza della cultura e della lingua del paese di accoglienza. Si tratta di un’opportunità di crescita e stimolo, che mira a creare una possibilità di sviluppo sia per i giovani tirocinanti, sia per le realtà locali ospitanti.

Durante l’intera durata del progetto, i giovani vengono affiancati da un tutor, il quale contribuisce al monitoraggio del loro percorso di acquisizione di nuove competenze e conoscenze, supportandoli nel raggiungimento degli obiettivi di apprendimento e sviluppo personale e professionale che vengono fissati all’inizio dell’esperienza.

Le realtà in cui vengono inseriti i giovani sono molto varie, si tratta di organizzazioni non governative, associazioni, enti locali senza scopo di lucro (con sede a Trento o nelle zone circostanti) o aziende interessate ad ospitare un tirocinante presso la propria struttura. 

Quest’anno, il gruppo di tirocinanti è comporto da 7 ragazzi, ognuno dei quali sta svolgendo la propria esperienza all’interno di realtà di vario genere:

POL e ELISABET: stanno svolgendo il tirocinio presso "Il Cerchio Fareassieme", più specificamente alla Casa del Sole. Si tratta di un’associazione che eroga servizi socio-sanitari per persone con problemi di salute mentale, e che si occupa dello sviluppo di attività che valorizzino la responsabilità personale per creare contesti, gruppi e percorsi di cura e supporto per utenti e familiari.
Presso l’associazione, i tirocinanti si occupano di attività quali osservazione attiva, organizzazione di servizi socio-sanitari, supporto nelle attività di recupero, di socializzazione, e nelle attività quotidiane della comunità.

AIDA: sta svolgendo il suo tirocinio presso “Spazio Piera”, uno spazio indipendente nato dalla volontà di creare un luogo di arte e cultura, che promuove ed espone giovani artisti emergenti, esploratori e ricercatori di tematiche ambientali e attuali. Qui, la tirocinante presta supporto nell'organizzazione di eventi artistici, e partecipa a formazioni e laboratori di ceramica e illustrazione.

LENA: sta volgendo il tirocinio presso lo studio di tatuaggi “Giovanett Tattoo” nel centro di Trento, dove si occupa di attività di osservazione del funzionamento di uno studio di tatuaggi, partecipazione a formazioni su tecniche e igiene nella preparazione e attuazione di tatuaggi, e partecipazione a formazioni sulla realizzazione di tatuaggi.

DAVID: sta lavorando presso il Muse, per l'Associazione Mazingira ODV”, un’organizzazione di volontariato per la cooperazione allo sviluppo, la sostenibilità ambientale e la tutela della biodiversità. Nello specifico, si occupa della creazione di contenuti multimediali, come ad esempio foto, grafiche, poster e volantini per promuovere le attività dell'associazione.

NABILA: sta svolgendo la sua attività di tirocinio presso il laboratorio della pasticceria “Silvia Biasioli”, a Sopramonte, che si occupa della produzione di dolci con materie prime di ottima qualità e che utilizza il più
possibile prodotti a km 0 e biologici. Alcune delle attività di cui si occupa sono il controllo HACCP, il miglioramento delle strategie di marketing, la gestione degli account sui social media e il supporto nella produzione di dolci e dessert.

XAVIER: sta svolgendo il suo tirocinio presso "La Foresta" a Rovereto, un’accademia di comunità che ospita e promuove attività partecipative culturali, artistiche, economiche, educative, ambientaliste e di ricerca. Qui il tirocinante supporta la preparazione e l’implementazione dei diversi progetti attivi, come Fucina Museo, Eco Lab, Dai neta!, Comunità Frizzante, comun’Orto e Eco Lab, e aiuta nell'attuazione di un progetto di recupero degli scarti di cibo.

The international internship project “NOLimits: Addressing youth unemployment in Europe through transnational ESF mobility measures” is the result of a cooperation between the Aurora association and the InCo association, and aims to the integration of young Spanish people with fewer opportunities within the Trentino area, through internship activities in various companies and organizations.

A group of young trainees from Catalonia is offered the opportunity to spend 3 months in Italy (from the 1st of May to the 31st of July), thanks to a professional experience within a specific sector, in order to allow them to broaden their skills and abilities, to gain new specific capabilities, and at the same time to approach and improve their knowledge of the host country’s culture and language. This is an opportunity for growth and motivation, which aims to create the possibility of development both for the young trainees and for the local host organisations.

During the entire project, they are supported by a tutor, who monitors their progress in acquiring new knowledge and skills, supporting them in achieving the learning, personal and professional development goals that are set at the beginning of the experience.

The realities in which the young participants are placed are very varied: they are non-governmental organisations, associations, local non-profit organisations (based in Trento or in the surrounding areas) or companies interested in hosting an intern on their premises.

This year, the group of trainees consists of 7 members, each of whom is making an experience in a varied reality:

POL e ELISABET: they are doing their internship at "Il Cerchio Fareassieme", more specifically at the Casa del Sole. This is an association that provides social-health services for people with mental health problems, and that is involved in the development of activities that enhance personal responsibility to create contexts, groups, and care and support programs for users and their families.

At the association, trainees are involved in activities such as active observation, organisation of social and health services, support in recovery activities, socialisation, and daily community activities.

AIDA: she is doing her internship at 'Spazio Piera', an independent place founded to promote and exhibit young emerging artists, explorers and researchers of environmental and current issues. Here, the trainee lends support in the organisation of artistic events, and participates in pottery and illustration trainings and workshops.

LENA: she is currently working as an intern at the 'Giovanett Tattoo' tattoo studio, in the centre of Trento, where she is involved in observing the functioning of a tattoo studio, participating in trainings on techniques and hygiene in the preparation and making of tattoos, and participating in trainings on tattoo making.

DAVID: he is working at Muse, for the 'Mazingira ODV Association', a voluntary organisation for development cooperation, environmental sustainability and biodiversity protection. Specifically, he is in charge of creating multimedia content, such as photos, graphics, posters and flyers to promote the association's activities.

NABILA: she is carrying out her internship at the laboratory of the 'Silvia Biasioli' pastry shop in Sopramonte, which is involved in the production of sweets using top quality raw materials, and 0 km and organic products as much as possible. Some of the activities he is involved in are HACCP control, improving marketing strategies, managing social media accounts and supporting the production of cakes and desserts.

XAVIER: he is doing his internship at 'La Foresta', in Rovereto, a community academy that hosts and promotes participatory cultural, artistic, economic, educational, environmental and research activities. Here, the trainee supports the preparation and implementation of various active projects, such as Fucina Museo, Eco Lab, Dai neta!, Comunità Frizzante, comun'Orto and Eco Lab, and helps in the implementation of a food waste recovery project.
