From September 2024 for 10 month
a. Organization and implementation of intercultural debates and linguistic workshops. The
volunteer together with the teachers will have the opportunity to participate to lectures,
presenting specific topics in foreign languages, encouraging the students to communicate and
raising intercultural awareness. It is meant to be a non-formal method to help students ingetting their language certification.
b. During the homework hours, supporting slow and special needs students in foreign
languages skills.
c. Participation into curricular and extracurricular activities (including training, guided tours
about the knowledge of the artistic and cultural heritage of the area, chorus and orchestra
rehearsal);
d. Organization and implementation of special events as for example:
> Drama laboratory and performance;
> Cineforum in English or another foreign language;
> Artistic events
> seminars and exhibitions
e. Attending the staff school meetings together with the teachers
f. Communication and promotion activities: debates regarding youth, international and
multilateral activities, foreign culture- lesson in volunteer's language, etc...
g. Participation in activities targeting youth with fewer opportunities, such us accompanying
them, helping them to get integrated in the school, supporting them to understand another
culture, to express in another language and to get digital competences
h. Participation in the Italian language course;
i. Reading laboratory: the volunteer will have the opportunity to read books together in a
foreign language regarding specific topics

Requirements for participation:
- Candidate should be over 18 years old and registered to the ESC portal ;
- Must be very motivated and committed to the voluntary activity;
- Interested in the topic of the project;
- A minimum B1 level of English. Knowledge of italian language is a plus
Candidates who will fill a generic application form, with no details and without clear motivation will be not considered. Candidates who are applying only for the willing of travelling or just because would like to meet previous friends/boyfriend/girlfriend/relatives in Italy will not be considered.
Please consider that it is not allowed to have any other job activity during the project or to be beneficiary of any other European grant.

- Candidates can apply just for 1 project, in case would like to apply for more projects, they are invited to send different application forms with clear explanation and motivation for each specific project.
- Email's subject must be: "ESC volunteering for [name of hosting organization]". Emails without the specific subject will not be included in the selection process.
- Emails which do not follow the indications will not be processed as valid applications and will be directed again to this announcement.
- Successful applications will receive an email of confirmation.
As a volunteer, you will live in a flat together with 3 other volunteers, in the city of Molfetta close to the school. The accommodation will be provided in double room with a shared bathroom and kitchen.
The lodging choice will be always decided by the School or InCo and it is not possible for you to
choose your own accommodation. For both lodging options, volunteers will have to respect
the rules of the structure and the environment where they live.
There are possibilities for the volunteers to have their meal either:
• At home, which is fully furnished with kitchen. In this case an additional amount of money of
150 euros will be provided.
• In case you are involved in an excursion, the hosting organization will provide food for you.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO HOST ANY THIRD PERSON IN THE VOLUNTEER FLAT.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO HAVE EXTRA HOLIDAYS IN DECEMBER IN ADDITION TO CHRISTMASS HOLIDAYS. VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED TO WORK UNTIL THE 23RD OF DECEMBER!!!
